Checkup: Waiting Rooms app for iPhone and iPad

Having a loved one in the hospital can be very stressful, Checkup eases some of this stress with a simple and sophisticated interface that allows you to update friends and family by inviting them into a virtual “waiting room”.

Advantages of Checkup:
• All information is inputted by single friend or family member, optimizing organization.
• The platform is designed to follow the common surgical procedure process.
• Select hospitals will be featured within the app: those featured will include an interactive map of the hospital, phone number, and link to the road map to arrive from outside.
• A full Webster’s Medical Dictionary will be accessible from within the app.
• All friends and family members are invited via phone number; this allows you to control who can view the updates as they’re posted.
• Questions asked by those invited into the room can be answered individually to whoever asked or to the whole room. This gives room for discretion for questions that may be more personal than others.
